Automotive Technician/Mechanic - B Tech

Smithwest Service Center is a reputable and rapidly expanding automotive repair shop committed to providing exceptional workmanship and ensuring customer satisfaction. We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced B Tech Automotive Technician who is eager to grow, learn, and take their skills to the next level. Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical problems across a diverse range of vehicles.
• Conduct engine repairs, transmission servicing, and advanced diagnostic assessments.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections, adhering to high-quality work standards.
• Efficiently utilize diagnostic equipment and repair tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Have the ability to perform a DVI and communicate clearly about repair and maintenance to Service writers and shop foreman
• Collaborate effectively with team members

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of professional automotive diagnostic repair experience and Skills
• ASE Certification ( preferred but not required )
• NYS Inspector's License ( preferred but not required)
• Strong diagnostic abilities and familiarity with modern vehicle technology.
• Proficiency in using scan tools and computer diagnostics.
• A complete set of personal tools (we supply all specialty equipment).
• Capability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
