Your Role:
As our Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our professional image and ensuring smooth daily operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Excellent Communication: Answering and directing all phone calls with a clear, professional, and courteous manner. Effectively communicating information to clients, staff, and vendors.
- Professional Environment: Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area that reflects our commitment to professionalism. Greeting and assisting visitors with a positive and helpful attitude.
- Basic Administrative Tasks: Managing incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries. Performing basic data entry, photocopying, and faxing. Maintaining office supplies and notifying management of needs. Assisting with scheduling appointments and managing the shop calendar. Maintaining accurate records and filing systems.
- Providing general information about Smitty's Classics and our services.
- Assisting with other administrative duties as needed to support the team.
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience in a receptionist, administrative assistant, or customer service role.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- A consistently professional and courteous demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., email, word processing).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a busy environment.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- An interest in classic cars is a plus, but not required.
