Job Summary:
The Landscape Project Coordinator plays a vital role in the successful execution of landscape projects. This position requires a strong understanding of landscape construction practices and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The Coordinator will work closely with the design team, installation crews, and clients to en projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Job Responsibilities:
Project Coordination:
- Assist the design team with material procurement and confirmation.
- Review job packets and communicate pertinent information with crew members.
- Secure necessary job permits and utility locations.
- Assist crews with daily material logistics and staging.
Field Support:
- Operate heavy equipment as needed.
- Work alongside crew members as needed to assist with training and address work backlogs.
Inventory Management:
- Manage bulk hard goods and landscape material inventory.
- Assist crews with project installation, ensuring satisfactory job completion.
Client Communication:
- Communicate with clients as needed to address any concerns or questions.
Project Reporting:
- Provide daily updates to designers on job progress and any scheduling updates.
Financial Management:
- Ensure all job paperwork and actuals are completed thoroughly and turned in for invoicing.
- Review job costs with the landscape team.
Teamwork & Client Experience:
- Lead with the purpose of creating a positive environment for all team members and clients.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
- Proven experience operating and maintaining landscaping equipment.
- Relevant experience in the landscape construction and management industry.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and subcontractors.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
