Job Title: Red Team Senior Penetration Tester => Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance
Location: North Charleston, SC Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance
Client is seeking a highly skilled Red Team Senior Penetration Tester to support cybersecurity initiatives for a federal client in North Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Red Team operations, automation, cloud security, and web application testing, and must hold an active Secret clearance. This role requires a technical expert with strong communication skills and the ability to simulate real-world adversary tactics in order to assess and strengthen organizational security posture.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support by utilizing experience in automation using Powershell, PowerAutomate, Logic Apps, Graph API.
Provide support by utilizing experience conducting Red Team operations in an MDE environment.
Provide support by utilizing experience with AWS, Cloud Audit, Serverless and Microservice Architecture.
Provide support utilizing experience working with AWS services (such as EC2, S3, KMS, RDS) and security best practices relevant to those services.
Provide support by performing web application and API penetration testing, and Cloud Security Audits.
Provide support by utilizing experience with Web Services penetration testing (RESTful and SOAP) Web Authentication protocols (e.g. OAuth2, SAML, LDAP).
Mimic attacks of threat actors defined by the Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Team to assess and improve IT system resilience, SOC monitoring effectiveness, and tuning of security tools
Perform ad hoc, focused pen tests to validate the effectiveness of corrective actions taken to address identified weaknesses
Perform Penetration Testing Services for any internal or public websites and associated systems
Required Qualifications
Active Secret clearance is required.
U.S. Citizenship required (Visa: USC).
Bachelor s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, or Master s degree with 3 years.
At least one current certification: CFR, Cloud , CySA , GCED, GICSP, or PenTest .
Ability to obtain within 6 months of hire: OSCP, OSCE, OSEE, or OSWP.
Strong experience with penetration testing tools and vulnerability assessments.
Demonstrated experience with ACAS, packet analysis, STIG assessments, and SCAP benchmarks.
Experience with cloud architecture, serverless environments, and security best practices in AWS.
