*Job Overview* We are seeking a Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service and operate the cash register efficiently in a retail environment. *Duties* - Greet customers and assist them with their purchases - Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately - Provide product information, offer recommendations, and conduct product demonstrations - Maintain a clean and organized checkout area - Upsell products and promote special offers to customers - Process returns and exchanges - Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves *Skills* - Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members - Proficient in phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries - Experience in a grocery store or retail setting is a plus - Knowledge of cash handling procedures and operating a POS system - Familiarity with retail sales techniques and upselling strategies - Ability to perform basic retail math calculations - Competency in conducting product demos to showcase merchandise
