To be considered, applicants must be at least 21 years old. Applicants must have 3 years of smoke shop experience. Reliable transportation is also required. In return, we offer a competitive salary of $15 per hour, based on experience, plus a 2% commission on individual sales goals met. We are looking for a reliable Store Manager who is looking to grow with a competitive and rapidly growing company. This individual will:
- Have 3 years of experience managing people and processes.
- Have 3 years of smoke shop experience, preferably within the industry.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Be organized with attention to detail.
- Work well under pressure and deadlines; ability to multitask.
- Possess strong leadership and management skills with ability to motivate staff.
- Have excellent customer service abilities.
- Possess industry and product knowledge.
You will:
- Work with HR and District Manager to interview, selectively hire, and train staff for the retail location.
- Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Handle discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
- Oversee staff and fulfill staffing needs for regular hours, as well as special events or high-traffic times.
- Maintain and motivate a positive sales team through communication, incentives, and evaluations.
- Confirm daily sales reports and cash receipts; ensures monies are deposited regularly, and reports are submitted as prescribed by company policies.
- Address customer needs and resolve issues, ensuring positive and long-term customer relationships.
- Develop, oversee, and maximize retail budget and product inventory, purchasing, and sales.
- Ensure inventory data is correct by performing spot inventory counts and checks.
- Ensure daily, monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals are met.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, laws and regulations for the purpose of adjusting inventory and product placement adheres to industry standards and market demands.
- Understand store demographics for the purpose of working with upper management to strategically align sales goals to customer needs and demands.
- Collaborate with district managers and owners to develop, coordinate, and identify cost-effective advertising and hiring strategies.
This role requires the Store Manager to:
- Sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Lift up to 30 pounds at times.
- Bend and stand throughout the day.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Be flexible and available to work nights and weekends.
