As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring that all guests receive top-notch service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
- Participate in special events such as banquets or private parties as required.
Skills
- Proven experience in bartending or related roles within the food service or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, cocktail recipes, and retail math for accurate order processing.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and handling payments efficiently.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
