Job Summary

Duties
- Operate the cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with accuracy.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Communicate effectively with customers to promote products and services, including upselling when appropriate.
- Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
- Stock shelves and ensure merchandise is organized and displayed attractively.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly checkout area.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, providing information as needed.
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate transactions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Proficiency in operating cash registers and handling financial transactions.
- Basic math skills to accurately process payments and provide change.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
