Sales Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales, providing exceptional service, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Duties

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with transactions and manage inventory effectively.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for processing sales and returns.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking merchandise as needed.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to potential buyers, such as vaporizers.
• Supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and support in their roles.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance the overall customer experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts for accurate transaction handling.
• Experience with POS systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer satisfaction.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
