Currently Seeking a Durable Medical Equipment Technician for a well established and growing Medical Equipment Company. Technicians will be responsible for the delivery, setup, and instruction to the patient of durable medical equipment. Duties include selecting equipment and ensuring equipment delivery to facility and appropriate users. Tests and maintains equipment to ensure proper functionality. Provides training on use of equipment. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and clean driving record. Ability to lift 50-100 lbs required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. No experience required. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Must be personable and compassionate with the ability to asses patient needs as they arise. Must be able to take on-call one week a month'
