What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly and Fulfillment Associate position at Smoky Lake Maple Products, LLC?
Smoky Lake Maple Products is home to the maple syrup industry’s most revered production equipment. (Evaporators, Filter Presses, Bottling Systems, etc.) We are eager to welcome an additional detail oriented, dependable, positive-minded member to our award-winning, first shift team. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Picking/Packing Orders — Smoky Lake sells its equipment via a diverse array of channels: Website, EBAY, Walmart.com, Amazon, etc. You will consistently dazzle customers by accurately picking, packing and shipping our in-stock orders in a timely manner.
Freight — Smoky Lake works with both private carriers as well as commercial LTL carriers to deliver evaporators all over the United States and beyond. We must palletize/armor our hand crafted maple equipment to protect it in long haul transit. Some heavy lifting required.
Pre-pack Inventory — During the summer and fall months, our main focus is building inventory and preparing for the next busy season.
Assembly — Every custom evaporator, for example, must be fully assembled to ensure accuracy and perfection before it can be shipped or picked up by a customer.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Solid work history
- Must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time- (10 hour days)
- Ability to work with hands and pay attention to detail
- Some heavy lifting required
- Must be comfortable using a computer
- Forklift certification is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
