Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Virtual IT Support is to provide technical support for our virtual sales team, utilizing Microsoft Teams as the virtual platform. The successful candidate will ensure seamless operation, troubleshoot technical issues, and enhance the overall efficiency of the sales process.
Duties
Technical Support
Provide real-time technical support to sales team members using Zoom for virtual sales presentations, meetings, and webinars.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Zoom, including connectivity, audio / video quality, and integration with other software tools.
Assist sales team members with the setup and configuration of devices and software to ensure optimal performance.
Monitor the performance of Zoom during critical sales events and address any technical disruptions promptly.
System Maintenance and Optimization
Perform regular system maintenance and updates to ensure the sales platform operates smoothly and efficiently.
Identify and implement best practices for the use of Zoom in virtual sales environments.
Collaborate with IT and sales departments to develop and execute strategies for enhancing the functionality and reliability of the sales platform.
User Training & Support
Conduct training sessions for sales team members on the effective use of Zoom and related tools.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and user guides to assist sales team members in troubleshooting common issues.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to sales team members to enhance their technical proficiency and confidence in using the platform.
Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with the sales team to understand their technical needs and provide customized solutions.
Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external clients to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
Participate in regular meetings with the IT and sales departments to discuss system improvements and address any technical challenges.
Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a virtual sales environment.
Proficiency in Zoom and other communication and collaboration tools.
Experience with system maintenance, troubleshooting, and user training.
Ability to consistently demonstrate and maintain the highest standards of professionalism when interacting with team members, management, members, owners, and guests.
