Smoky Mountain Farmers Co-op in Morristown is in search of an experienced Tire Shop Technician. We are looking for someone with great communication skills and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks. An outstanding candidate has experience with agriculture/tractor tire maintenance and repair, will work quickly and efficiently, while maintaining high customer service and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with agriculture/tractor tires
- Must enjoy and excel in a team environment
- Applicants should have an upbeat, positive outlook
- Ability to function well in a physically demanding environment
- Ability to stay dedicated and reliable with duties and responsibilities
Job tasks include but are not limited to:
- Install new tires and wheels
- Perform maintenance and repair on tires, including rotations, balancing and other needed repairs
- Placing orders on computer
- Focus on customer service
- Maintain clean and safe work space
- Communicate and cooperate with the team and team leadership
