JOB DESCRIPTION:
Smoky Mountain Farmers Co-op is looking to hire a reliable full-time Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver at our Sevierville location. This position is responsible for transporting goods in a safe, timely manner to designated locations, servicing customers at the store location, and performing other warehouse duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Loading & Delivering Goods
- Loads truck and delivers items such as fertilizer, seed, chemical and other supplies to customer locations.
- Picks up goods and materials, loads and unloads cargo, verifies shipments for accuracy and delivers goods as instructed.
- Organize and warehouses stock on shelves and racks while operating front-end loaders in warehouses.

Receiving, Shipping & Logistics
- Reads production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or purchase orders to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed
- Delivers materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style or product code
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets, shelves, or delivers orders to the packing station or shipping department with accuracy
- Records sales and/or provides information on daily sales/delivery records with accuracy.

Safety & Quality Control
- Performs pre-inspection, routine maintenance, and cleaning of the trucks and other equipment.
- Ensures all safety regulations and procedures are followed.
- Actively participates in all Smoky Mountain Farmers Co-op safety, environment and quality assurance programs.
- Safely operates a forklift of similar equipment to complete job requirements.

Provide Excellent Customer Service
- Maintain a helpful and positive attitude when working with customers and teammates.
May be asked to perform other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- F Endorsement on Driver’s License – Required
- At least 1 year of commercial driving experience – Preferred
- General knowledge of agriculture products and equipment
- Ability to communicate and work within a team setting
- Attention to detail
- Must be dependable
- Self-motivated
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQURIEMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
