What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gymnastics Team Coach position at Smoky Mountain Gymnastics?
Employment opportunity:
Team Coach: 20 - 25 hours per week
Pay depends on experience
Levels Xcel Bronze - Platinum
Optional Level 7
Requirements:
- Experience in gymnastics with all 4 events, competition or coaching.
- Travel to competitions (weekends) October - April/May. Skills Camp in June Sunday - Wednesday. May have to provide your own transportation.
- Prepaid travel expenses for competitions and camp: Hotel, Meals, Mileage from SMG to Competition or camp address.
- Session pay for competitions paid on 7th and 22nd.
- Training Region 8 Congress (if SMG attends) Prepaid travel expenses for training: Hotel, Meals, Mileage from SMG to Competition or camp address. Hourly pay for training hours only
- Training in house hourly pay.
- Practice Hours: Monday - Tuesday - Thursday - Friday. Must be able to attend all 4 days, hours vary and could change. Afternoon hours during August - May Morning Hours June & July also during fall, winter and spring break. Could have a practice on a Wednesday or Saturday during competition season.
- Required to have a USAG membership, SMG will pay for membership and USAG training . Also required background check paidfor by SMG.
- Private lessons can be done anytime the gym is closed.
