Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter/Laborer to join our team. As a Painter/Laborer, you will be responsible for performing various painting and labor tasks to support our construction projects. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results
- Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas
- Assist with general labor tasks such as moving materials, cleaning work areas, and maintaining tools
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Painter/Laborer or similar role
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for painting and general labor tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet project deadlines
