Overview
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee painting projects from start to finish. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage crews, interact with clients, and ensure projects are completed on time and to Smooth Finish Painting’s standards.
Duties
- Manage multiple painting projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion.
- Conduct pre-job planning and post-job inspections to uphold Smooth Finish Painting’s quality standards.
- Proactively identify and resolve project issues before they become problems.
- Lead and manage 7 full-time painters, ensuring they follow our structured production process.
- Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and enforce adherence to company policies.
- Train and mentor crew members to improve efficiency and craftsmanship as needed.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project.
- Conduct client walk-throughs, address concerns, and ensure full satisfaction.
- Educate clients on our grading form, referral program, and satisfaction guarantee.
- Develop project timelines, ensuring smooth transitions between job phases.
- Coordinate material deliveries, crew assignments, and jobsite logistics.
- Maintain detailed documentation in DripJobs or Company Cam for tracking progress.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills:
- 3 years of project management experience in painting, construction, or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing crews of 5 workers.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret project blueprints or scopes of work.
- Experience using project management software (DripJobs, Company Cam, or similar).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
