We are looking for a skilled and experienced Asphalt Paving Foreman to join our team and help drive our success.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Foreman with at least 5 years of experience in the paving industry. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating paving and grading operations, managing crews, and ensuring the smooth execution of projects on a variety of job sites. The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to achieving high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of paving operations, including preparatory work, grading, drainage, mix designs, compaction, and other paving-related tasks.
• Lead and supervise a crew of 5-10 workers, providing training, guidance, and delegating tasks to ensure efficient daily production and project completion.
• Collaborate with the superintendent to schedule trucking, equipment, and labor needs for upcoming projects.
• Maintain clear communication with the superintendent and project managers to ensure project goals are met and any issues are promptly addressed.
• Operate asphalt paving equipment (including screed side) as needed during various phases of the job.
• Communicate with asphalt plant operators to ensure consistent material delivery and quality.
• Complete and submit daily timecards, tracking production, equipment usage, and labor details.
• Foster a safe and efficient work environment, ensuring that all crew members adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of asphalt paving experience, including experience with roadways and leading a crew.
• Proven ability to manage and lead a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with crew members, management, and clients.
• Ability to read blueprints and set up lasers for precise grading and paving.
• Focused on delivering quality results and exceeding customer expectations.
• Must be a team player with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
• Must be able to pass a drug test prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $80.00 per hour
