**Job Description:**
Smooth Transitions of the South Shore is seeking a dedicated and highly organized Lead Team Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is essential for ensuring smooth transitions for our clients, particularly within the aging population. Key responsibilities include coordinating with movers, scheduling team members, measuring furniture, finalizing floor plans, and handling packing and unpacking tasks. Additionally, this role involves managing the dispersal of goods through donations, online auctions, and trash disposal. There will also be clerical duties and senior community outreach, including participating in home shows and expos.
**Responsibilities:**
- Lead and coordinate a team of packers and movers to ensure efficient and smooth transition for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Schedule and manage team members, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Measure furniture and finalize floorplans for proper placement in new spaces.
- Oversee and assist in unpacking and packing items, ensuring careful handling and labeling.
- Manage the dispersal of goods through donations, online auctions, and trash disposal.
- Perform clerical duties and engage in senior community outreach.
- Drive to various job sites; must have a valid driver’s license with no driving issues.
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- experience in a leadership role, preferably in organizing, logistics, or a related field.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage and schedule a team effectively.
- Patience, empathy, and sensitivity.
- Ability to take direction and be trained in our methods.-Physical ability to stand for long hours and lift at least 30lbs.
- No criminal record.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience in floor planning and furniture measurement (not as an interior designer).
- Previous customer service experience.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
