Job Overview
We are seeking a Level 1 Desktop Support Technician to provide frontline IT support for our clients in the hospitality and corporate space . This role is ideal for someone eager to develop technical skills in a fast-paced environment while ensuring exceptional service delivery . You will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting on-site and remote users, and maintaining IT infrastructure for hotel and business environments where uptime is critical.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Respond to and troubleshoot Level 1 issues related to Windows, macOS, and network connectivity.
- Support POS systems, guest Wi-Fi networks, keyless entry systems, and other hospitality-related technology .
- Assist in user account management (Active Directory, Office 365, email accounts, etc.).
- Document support tickets and resolutions in Halo PSA (or ticketing system used).
- Communicate with Level 2 and Level 3 engineers to escalate complex issues.
- Perform basic hardware / software installations, updates, and configurations .
- Assist with network troubleshooting , including connectivity issues and VPN access.
- Provide on-site and remote support for hospitality venues and businesses as needed.
- Maintain a high level of customer service when assisting end users, both staff and VIP clients.
