As a Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our operations by effectively coordinating multiple areas of responsibility. Key responsibilities include :
- Leading and supporting human resources activities, such as recruitment, training, performance management, and staff scheduling, while fostering a positive workplace environment.
- Overseeing inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels and smooth procurement operations.
- Maintaining the physical appearance and functionality of the site by implementing preventive maintenance schedules and coordinating necessary repairs.
- Providing technical support and collaborating with IT professionals to resolve hardware and software issues.
- Demonstrating leadership by encouraging professional development, team collaboration, and maintaining accountability.
- Communicating effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring timely reporting and resolution of issues.
- Human Resources Management :
- Oversee recruitment, on-boarding, and training of new employees.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Manage staff and scheduling. From time to time this may require coaching, discipline, and termination.
- There are times when overtime is required, and the applicant must be prepared to step in and cover shifts or address urgent business needs to ensure operational continuity.
- Inventory Management :
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Implement inventory control procedures and conduct regular audits.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to optimize procurement processes.
- Site Maintenance :
- Ensure facilities are well-maintained and comply with safety and cleanliness standards.
- Coordinate with contractors and service providers for maintenance and repair needs.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
- Technical Support :
- Provide first-line technical assistance to staff and troubleshoot minor hardware / software issues.
