The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability of our production facility, preparing and implementing concepts for improvement, and maintaining the functionality of the facility. This includes monitoring production, identifying weak points, and removing causes of downtime. Additionally, they will be responsible for well-directed personnel deployment and ensuring fast and targeted action in the event of a fault.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures
- Repair all plant machinery and equipment, including robots, hydraulic presses, and mechanical presses
- Provide mechanical and electrical support to keep machinery operating
- Move, align, level, and install machinery
- Record machine maintenance information
- Troubleshoot, program, and install PLCs
- Utilize PMC or other maintenance-specific database software
- Perform other duties as requested or assigned
Requirements:
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
- Familiarity with materials, methods, and tools involved in construction or repair of buildings or structures
- Understanding of relevant safety equipment, policies, and procedures
- Strong understanding of industrial maintenance safety and best practices
- Able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate
- Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, blueprint reading, electrical schematics reading, arc welding, gas welding, and cutting
- Basic knowledge of PLC and robotics
