We are looking for a talented Paint Mix Room Operator to join our growing team. You will be responsible to running tests on materials, collecting and recording material data, measuring and monitoring paint systems for inventory, functionality, and start up or shut down issues.
What you will be responsible for:
- Perform daily viscosity checks and fill out verification check sheets
- Perform various required tests for paint, solvents, and power wash
- Escalate any out of tolerance readings
- Record and report inventory
- Assist with other duties as required
What will you bring to the table (Skills/Experience Required):
- High school diploma / GED
- Paint craftsman, completed vocational training in paint / lacquer technique or skilled worker with corresponding work experience
- Experience with painting processes, varnishes and painted surfaces
- Basic knowledge of internal work regulations.
- Standardized Work Knowledge.
- Core Tools basic level in (Viscometer, Desoft, and the HMI system)
- Industrial Safety Rules and 5 "S"
- Great communication
- Conflict Resolution
- Flexibility and Sense of Urgency to respond to change
- Familiar with OSHA standards
