We are looking for a talented Skids and Jigs Operator to join our growing team. You will be responsible to allocate flawless and accurate enameling holders, which allow to work with the hereupon adjusted parts and securing an optimal placement of the paint shop. This team member will be accountable for correct mounting and adjustment of painted parts and be required to perform other duties as needed.
What you will be responsible for:
- Independent provision of setting-up activities according to the painting plan
- Repair of enameling holders and skids
- Sorting of the enameling holders according to the degree of pollution
- Cleanliness of enameling holders and skids
- To implement changes of enameling holders according to instructions
- New development of enameling holders according to instructions
- Storage of enameling holders and skids
- Inspection of enameling holders according to specifications and teachings
- To support the plant and industry mechanics in maintenance and repair work
- Daily handling of a shift book
- Assist with other duties as required.
What will you bring to the table (Skills/Experience Required):
- High school diploma / GED
- Completed apprenticeship in metal profession or years of experience as Skid Mechanic Assistant with skills in mechanic field of work
- Driving license for the forklift
- Handling and work with metals
- Handling with tools and teachings
- Welding techniques
- Reading of drawings and painting plans
- Familiar with OSHA standards
