Supply Chain and Operations Analyst

Position Overview : SMPLY Brands is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain and Operations Analyst to optimize our logistics matrixes, manage delivered cost programs, and support order fulfillment operations. This role will be integral to managing our complex manufacturing network across the U.S., coordinating between multiple production origins and diverse end users, distributors, and redistributors.
The ideal candidate will have strong skills in supply chain analytics, logistics planning, and customer engagement to ensure seamless forecasting, delivery scheduling, and operational execution.
Key Responsibilities :
Supply Chain Analysis & Logistics Planning :
- Develop and maintain logistics matrixes to support delivered cost programs, ensuring cost-efficiency and optimal routing.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Build dynamic models for transportation and delivery schedules based on manufacturing origins and customer locations.
Order Fulfillment Support :
Collaborate with customers to gather and analyze forecasts to ensure accurate production and delivery planning.Coordinate delivery schedules with customers and manufacturing facilities, ensuring on-time delivery across multiple regions.Manage communication between customers, distributors, and internal operations teams regarding order status and delivery timelines.Manufacturing & Network Management :
Monitor the performance of a complex manufacturing network with multiple products and origins across the U.S.Work closely with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to address supply chain disruptions or delays.Develop contingency plans for potential disruptions and maintain a proactive approach to risk management.Reporting & Data Management :
Generate regular reports on order fulfillment status, delivery metrics, and supply chain performance.Use data-driven insights to optimize inventory management, delivery timelines, and cost savings initiatives.Assist leadership with data analysis and reporting for quarterly business reviews and operational strategy sessions.Qualifications :
Education & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Analytics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).3 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations analysis (preferably in manufacturing or FMCG).Skills & Competencies :
Proficiency with supply chain management tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and logistics software.Advanced Excel skills and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers, vendors, and internal teams.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Why SMPLY Brands?
