OVERVIEW The Coordinator, Chapter Engagement plays a critical role in maintaining the connection between SMPS HQ and chapter leaders by providing administrative support, ensuring effective communication, and delivering exceptional customer service to chapter volunteers. This role is responsible for sharing resources, facilitating access to key information, and supporting chapter leaders in their initiatives. Additionally, the Coordinator, Chapter Engagement manages data entry and tracking of chapter leaders and volunteers to ensure accurate records and reporting. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach are essential to enhancing chapter engagement and ensuring the successful delivery of resources and services aligned with the Society’s mission. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS CORE COMPETENCIES Provides timely and professional support to volunteers and chapter leaders. Effectively manages multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines. REQUIRED GENERAL Bachelor’s degree preferred or related work experience. Minimum of 2 years in program coordination, volunteer management, or administrative support. Exceptional customer service and communication skills, verbal and written. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to rapidly learn and use new technology and software. REQUIRED TECHNICAL Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Strong organizational and time management skills. NICE TO HAVE Experience managing websites, content platforms, or membership databases. Working knowledge of, and experience with the use of database and association management systems (data entry, production of queries, reports, and forms).
