Description :
This position exists solely to fabricate, assemble, and prepare products for market.
- Inherent requirements include, but are not limited to the following :
- Perform physical activity in a plant environment as described in an
Ergonomic Job Description, attached to and made part of this Statement;
Demonstrate proficiency to read and consistently follow templates, engineering drawings, specifications and written work instructions;Operate a variety of powered mechanical, electromechanical and / or manual tools, including but not limited to cutters, buffers / sanders, pneumatic drills, wrenches, punches, hand-held maul, measuring equipment and other devices;Visually monitor operations of curing equipment;Identify, select and apply specified fasteners and other necessary hardware;Use prescribed personal protective (safety) equipment, including but not limited to : respiratory protection, gloves, eye wear, and / or other devices;Coordinate fabrication and assembly with co-workers / team, honoring stop / check points for supervisory and / or other devices;Communicate planned, ongoing or completed production activity to team supervision in a timely manner using appropriate process documents, travel cards, statistical process control charting or other advanced quality system data summaries which include all certified operator processes and ability to achieve and maintain a certified operator status.and / orWork extended or extra shifts, if customer requirements cannot otherwise be reasonably satisfied.Requirements :
General Duties (Narrative)
Employee performs wide variety of operations to assist with fabrication of components from raw materials; cures product components during production cycle, and assembles product to completion. Cooperative / team approach to accomplish lifting or moving of components or completed product is absolutely necessary.
Exertion Level :
This position generally requires up to heavy exertion-level activities, defined as occasional lifts of up to one hundred(100) pounds and frequent lifts of up to fifty (50) pounds, with some breaks from continual standing, or walking tolerances during the course of an eight-hour work shift.
Walking / Working Surface(s) :
Working shift has employee-associate walking / standing, bending and / or stooping on a flat concrete-slab in certain areas of the facility, indoors.
