FRONT DESK CLERK
We are seeking customer service individual to become part of our Front Desk Team. Must be reliable, dependable & have the ability to work in a fast paced environment with a smile.
Flexible is needed with the ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends when needed. A friendly, outgoing and positive personality is a must!
Responsibilities:
- Welcome all guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner being respectful at all times.
- Check-in, check out guests with a focus on room placement and ability to up sell.
- Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established hotel procedures. This includes but is not limited to posting guest charges, completing cashier & other reports. Preparing deposits, counting and securing assigned bank.
- Respond to guest complaints and ensure that appropriate actions have been taken to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Book guest reservations/group reservations either by phone or in person. Process cancellations, and provide updates and changes as needed
- Promote teamwork and quality of service through daily communications and coordination with all departments.
- Perform other duties as needed including guest room tours, guest requests, hotel and local area information etc.
Experience:
- Customer Service: 1 Year
- Front Desk Environment: 1 Year
- Previous hotel experience a plus, but not necessary for the right candidate
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
