Our internship program focuses on creating opportunities for our student interns to hone their skills and gain valuable real-life experience.
Program Details:
- SMRT’s Summer Internship Program runs for 12 Weeks from June to August.
- Our internships are paid positions.
- Interns must be able to work in-person in the office where they accept the internship.
- Application Window Ends: January 15, 2025.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: You’ve completed at least two years of a Bachelor of Science or Master of electrical engineering or technology degree program.
- Travel: Must be able to travel to the Portland, ME office for the Intern Summit, and the Andover, MA office for a mid-point check-in (travel expenses paid by SMRT).

Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor of Science or Master of electrical engineering program.
- Have completed the second year of the program prior to starting the internship.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Experience with AutoCAD and REVIT.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate in a team environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
