SMS has an open position for a full-time Intermediate Systems Administrator at Fort Huachuca in Sierra Vista, AZ. This position is part of a team for cloud based enterprise solutions in support of the Army’s Unified Directory Services (AUDS) and responsible for leading the way in cutting edge technology, and the spearhead for the Army’s upcoming unified management platform.

Responsibilities
- Ability restart / bounce the Azure components / clusters / VMs.
- Create and manage swap space on deployed cloud system per policies in support of the deployed cloud systems and environments.
- Assign end-users to systems and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Create custom scripts to automate support processes where applicable : PowerShell, Java etc.
- Ability to Power off / Down the un-used VMs Ability to identify issues at Azure level and resolve.
- Manage Azure subscriptions and profiles.
- Create and manage policies that affect global enterprise
