Summary: The CNC Machinist will set up and operate lathes, mills, and accessories to perform a variety of operations on rolls and other parts to meet quality assurance requirements. Employee will be expected to manufacture and repair parts associated with the repair of casting equipment as well any outside jobs that come in to the shop.
Responsibilities
- Ability to set up and operate both CNC and manual machinery for use in metal working applications.
- Operate and know the functions of Fanuc/Mazatrol controllers, load and run CNC programs.
- Ability to edit G and M code programs.
- Ability to read and understand drawings.
- Calculate tolerances from drawings and convert to/from metric/standard.
- Ability to use and read precise measuring tools.
- Perform daily maintenance check of machine.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Abilities
- Remain in a standing or walking position for extended periods on a daily basis
- Stoop, kneel and bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis
- Lift and move up to 40 pounds
What you'll need
- 2-3 years of CNC experience and/or vocational school
- High School Diploma/Equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License

Schedule:
- 6:30AM-4:30PM Monday-Friday
- 5AM-1PM every other Saturday
- Off Major Holidays
Salary : $20 - $27
