SMS group Inc in Gary is looking for an Experience Mechanic/Millwright to join our team!

Right Candidate will:
- Disassemble and clean parts for rebuild
- Reassemble new or reconditioned parts
- Use of jib cranes, fork trucks, and overhead cranes-all training provided
- Bearing disassembly, cleaning, mounting, and assembly
- Use of measuring devices, calipers, mics, feeler gauges
- Blueprint reading - interpret drawings
- Complete inspection forms and related paperwork
What you'll need:
- 2 years of Mechanic/Millwright experience
- Good mechanical skills
- Familiar with Optical scope and Micrometers
- Knowledgeable with fittings, grease/hydraulics
- Self-motivation to identify, analyze and independently work to find solutions to flow issues
