Summary

The IT Service Desk Technician ll is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users within the organization. This role involves imaging computers, utilizing SCCM for software deployments and updates, and managing IT support tickets to ensure timely resolution of technical issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused approach.

What you’ll do

 

Imaging Computers:

o Prepare and deploy standard computer images for new and existing 

hardware.

o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer imaging.

• IT Ticket Management:

o Respond to and resolve IT support requests via the ticketing system in a 

timely manner as part of a level one support team.

o Document all support activities and resolutions in the ticketing system.

o Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.

General IT Support:

o Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related 

issues.

o Assist with the setup and configuration of IT equipment for new employees.

o Conduct routine maintenance and updates on IT systems and equipment.

 

What you’ll need 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, 
  • or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in a technical support or IT service desk role.
  • Familiarity with computer imaging tools and processes.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in CompTIA A , ITIL, or similar credentials.
  • Experience with other IT management tools and software.
  • Basic knowledge of SCCM and its applications in software deployment and 
  • management.
