What you’ll do
- Sourcing: making decisions about how to source and manage the supply chain
- Negotiations: negotiating with suppliers
- Order preparation and entry: preparing and new Purchase Orders creation
- Order follow-up: following up on late and current orders
- Order expedites: expediting order move-in requests
- Request for quote: assist with request for quotes based on need or print requirements
- Inventory management: cycle count and inventory control
- Communication: communicating with internal project managers, engineers, sales team along with external vendors and contractors – telephone, email and in-person
What you’ll need
- Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain, Business or Engineering is desirable
- Strong analytical aptitude and ability to multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a group
- You are a “hands-on” person with an imaginative and resourceful approach to problem solving
- Thorough understanding of MS Office software is required, with strong emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to create macros on Excel and Word preferred
- Limited business travel to suppliers and company workshops will be required
