SUMMARY
Responsible for working with the management team, analysts, resource managers and resources to create and manage project plans, documentation and cross-functional teams in support of the company's vision and strategy; will work on multiple projects in various phases with different levels of complexities and project management needs at one time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan, manage and coordinate assigned projects.
• Provide oral and written status reports on projects.
• Work with resource managers to manage and assign resources.
• Deliver project activity within the agreed budget and timelines.
• Foresee and mitigate potential project risks.
• Coordinate and manage business relationships with key internal partners and significant external partners and vendors.
• Deliver presentations to include ongoing initiatives as well as future plans to be implemented, accurate reporting, reviewing objectives, reviewing progress, identifying needs or areas for improvement and action plans for correction.
• Assist with annual goal setting, including revenue and recruiting goals based upon sales projections and annual marketing or business plans for the business units.
• Monitor performance against goals.
• Work collaboratively with fellow staff to advance the values and mission of Senior Market Sales by serving on relevant internal and external committees.
• Assists with special projects/assignments as requested by members of management.
• Perform all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state and local laws, wherein the Company operates.
• Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Three (3) or more years related experience
Two (2) or more years project management experience
One (1) or more years insurance industry experience
SKILLS
Working knowledge of insurance services, industries, and product lines
Knowledge of program and project management including outcomes, quality assurance, and satisfaction measurement and interpretation
Skill in developing effective communication materials
Proficient computer skills (Microsoft/Word, Excel and PowerPoint software preferred)
Ability to analyze and accurately interpret budgets, financial reports and statistical data
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in a constructive manner
Ability to approach and communicate with a wide range of personalities in a professional and courteous manner
Ability to engage in effective interpersonal interaction, verbal communication and written communication
Ability to maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail while remaining flexible and responsive when faced with multiple urgent requests
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Ability to demonstrate organizational leadership qualities and develop and foster trusting relationships
Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule to include evening and weekend hours as needed
Ability to maintain all company policies, including all confidentiality and safety policies
