Responsibilities The apprentice electrician performs electrical work involved in construction, maintenance, and/or repair of commercial, industrial electrical construction projects Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order Punctuality be on time, all the time, at the designated work site Teamwork and a positive attitude Completes 10-hour OSHA Safety Course Requirements A willingness to follow Instructions, learn and do the job right the first time The ability to plan ahead - prepare tools/materials for the journeyman ahead of time; this improves job efficiency and makes a great impression Able to diagnose problems using electronic test equipment Eagerness to learn electrical schematics and blueprint reading skills Benefits Medical Dental Vision 401k Life Insurance
