Position Summary
The General Laborer regularly works outside exposed to outside weather conditions. The General Laborer, is responsible for performing various tasks. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
- Prepare products and materials for shipment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Assist with standard maintenance (Sweep, Shovel & Pressure Wash).
- Perform additional duties/assignments that may be required by management from time to time.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
· Ability to problem solve and make decisions with minimal supervision.
· Ability to multi-task.
· Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from management and supervisors.
