What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fleet And Facility Technician position at SMTS, Inc.?

· Vehicle maintenance and repairs, including weekly loaner vehicle maintenance
· Facility maintenance and repairs, including monthly building checks
· Move vehicles between service counties
· Purchase limited parts at local retail venders
· Keep the garage clean and well organized
· Keep parts inventory as directed by Manager
· Conduct wheelchair lift inspection
· Manage in-vehicle camera updates and inspections
· Conduct Federal Annual vehicle inspections
· Conduct emergency exit vehicle inspections
· Assist with decommissioning fleet vehicles
· Assist with implementation of new vehicle into the fleet
· Attend Safety Meetings on an as needed basis (overnight stay may be required on occasion)
· Attend specialized training classes on an as required basis
· Daily reporting to Fleet & Facility Manager on task list progress
· Respond and assist with Emergency Repairs on an as needed/requested basis
· Manage grounds maintenance on an as needed/requested basis
· Other task as assigned by Fleet and Facility Manager or other Management Staff
Wage based on experience.
