Dining Room Manager
Duties:
- Oversee the daily operations of the dining room, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Manage and train the dining room staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bussers
- Create and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality control
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations in the dining area
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction
Skills:
- Familar with Toast POS
- Food service management: Proven experience in managing a dining establishment or similar food service environment
- Customer service: Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Food preparation: Knowledge of food preparation techniques and ability to ensure high-quality food presentation
- Catering: Experience in coordinating and executing catering events, including menu planning and logistics
- Bartending: Familiarity with bartending techniques and ability to oversee bar operations if required
- Team management: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of diverse individuals
- Food handling: Knowledge of proper food handling procedures to maintain health and safety standards
- Restaurant management: Understanding of restaurant operations, including staffing, inventory management, and financial reporting
