ENGINEERING MAINTENANCE MANAGER : (Job in Von Ormy, TX) Plan, manage and coordinate the Preventative Maintenance Program for a company in the corrugated paper packaging industry; manage operations to research, design, install and maintain parts, equipment, systems and processes using working knowledge of the following engineering and trade tools : flexographic and rotary die cutting machines inspection / audit techniques, electrical grid power analysis techniques to detect consumption reduction opportunities, corrugator equipment alignment analysis techniques, electrical equipment / cabinets thermal analysis methods and techniques using thermal cameras and heat / cold principles, corrugating equipment inspection and monitoring processes using coating thickness indicators to keep track on Tungsten coating, OPC Giddings & Lewis software for flexographic equipment, Lenze navigator and Lenze Developer studio software, and vibration (in the 3 axes x, y and z) and temperature analysis predictive techniques; oversee the installation of new specialized flexographic, corrugating and rotary die cutting equipment to increase the volume capacity of the market using working knowledge of the following engineering and trade tools : Gantt charts (Microsoft Project), layout and installation / foundations / requirements in Auto-Cad software, and budget planning and reporting using SAP Financial modules; guide and lead the troubleshooting and repairing of equipment’s electrical, hydraulic and mechanical breakdowns; direct the refurbishment and tests of electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment and machinery; manage the spare parts inventory (worth over $ 1 million) to ensure availability of critical parts and rotation of the inventory; oversee the fabrication of safety guards, railings, and support equipment for compaction and conveying equipment. REQS : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering and 2 yrs of exp in the job or in positions dealing with maintenance of engineering machinery / equipment for companies in the corrugated paper packaging industry and the listed engineering and trade tools.
