JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Brew Yard Supervisor, you will be in a frontline customer interaction role that is key to providing each visitor to the brewery with a positive experience. The Brew Yard Supervisor will supervise the Ambassadors. We are busy all year, and our friendly team works hard to make every guest feel welcome. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain high standards of operations that will propel Westminster Brew Yards to be one of the most respected and trusted Brew Yards in the area.
- Create and sustain a culture of pride amongst the entire front of house staff through empowerment, effective training, guidance, and effective leadership.
- Work with the Front of House Supervisor to ensure the Brew Yard Ambassadors are delivering superior customer service.
- Ensuring employee and guests safety by establishing and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Perform all Ambassador duties. Pour and serve beverages to customers, perform growler and call filling duties
- Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each customer
- Knowledge of all craft beers, specifically all Finestkind Brands
- Ability to discuss the beers with customers
- Check identification of customers in order to verify age 21
- Keep Brew Yard clean at all times
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer and be able to account for any and all discrepancies in the final drawer tally
- Plan off-site events
POSITION REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS
- Restaurant experience and knowledge
- Knowledge of the beer industry
- Knowledge of all restaurant state regulations
- Understanding of all company policies and procedures
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant.
- Complete knowledge of restaurant POS back-end systems.
- Strong verbal communications skills.
- Problem solving skills that allow you to address guest and staff needs.
- Attention to detail.
- Execute at a high volume to efficiently manage service flow and teamwork environment.
