We are excited to add to our event team. The Event Set Up/Breakdown Crew will be an integral part of the events team during private events, festivals, and weddings. It is important that this person can enthusiastically work closely with others in a busy environment, can be a reliable part of our team, and have the drive and passion for Smuttynose. This is a per-diem seasonal position with a mix of days, nights, and weekends with the opportunity for year-round work for top performers.

We are seeking hardworking, reliable individuals to assist with events set up and breakdown at our venue. This role is perfect for those who enjoy physical, hands-on work in an outdoor setting.

Ideal Candidate

• Physically capable of lifting and moving event materials
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Detail-oriented with strong work ethic
• Able to take direction and work efficiently in a team setting
• Prior experience in event set up, maintenance, or manual labor is a plus but not required

Role

• Physical Set Up - Move and arrange tables, chairs, and equipment based on event requirements
• Tent Management - Roll tent sides up or down as needed, ensuring proper anchoring and weather protection
• Tent Cleaning & Maintenance - Keep tent sides clean and maintain the structure during and after events
• Special Equipment Set Up - Assist with the est up of unique or rented event equipment
• Dcor & Aesthetics - Help arrange and enhance the event space for a polished, professional presentation
