What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist position at SMV Recruiting, LLC?
SMV Recruiting is looking for a CNC Machinist to add to the team for our manufacturing client in Syracuse, NY. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of operating CNC equipment, perform set ups and utilize tools such as caliper, micrometers and gauages, etc. This is a direct hire role with excellent benefits, competitive pay and an excellent company culture!
Responsibilities:
- Utilize CNC machines at a time to machine quality parts that are 30 lbs
- Perform 1-5 set ups per day by reading blueprints
- Use manual CNC programming to make precise cuts and make edits
- Change out chuck and jaws on the machines when needed
- Perform inspections on the products using the measuring devices
- Keep machines running accurately, adjust the machines as needed
- Read and write process instructions, work orders, quality documents and other paperwork
Requirements:
- 5-10 years CNC Mill machining experience is required
- Must be able to lift and move products as needed
- Must be mathematically and mechanically inclined
- Must be able to write and read instructions, work orders and other documents
Salary : $24 - $32
