What are the responsibilities and job description for the 3rd Shift Process Technician position at SMV Recruiting?
SMV Recruiting has an immediate opening for two experienced 3rd Shift Process Technicians in Concord, NC. We are looking for someone for injection molding team. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience working as a process technician on a manufacturing plant floor with automation. This is a direct hire role and our client offers great benefits including healthcare, vacation and an extremely competitive 401k program. We are currently looking to hire for all shifts.
Responsibilities :
- Troubleshoot automated plastic injection molding equipment, robots and EOAT problems
- Adjust machine parameters to achieve optimal output and quality
- Perform mold changes, start ups and quality control checks
- Write recipe / formula for plastic end products (hold times, plasticizers, parts, etc.)
- Balance and drill out hot runner systems as needed
- Repair equipment
- Coordinate with maintenance staff and engineers to address machine malfunctions
- Perform preventative maintenance on injection molding machines
