What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Specialist position at SMV Recruiting?
SMV Recruiting is looking for a Inventory Specialist for a client of ours in Syracuse, NY. The ideal candidate willl have 5-10 years experience in inventory management coupled with experience in a custom fabrication shop. This is a full-time position with solid benefits including healthcare, dental, 401K and vacation.
Responsibilities :
- Properly manage receiving in inventory and ensure no defects to the products
- Ensure warehouse is organized properly and correctly
- Select stock to fill customer orders based on the correct order requirements
- Moving product with forklift truck
- Safely operate forklift as needed and other equipment
- Ensure prompt deliveries from drivers
- Perform additional job duties as required
