What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tool & Die Maker position at SMV Recruiting?
SMV Recruiting is currently looking for a Tool & Die Maker for our client in Concord, NC. We are looking for someone to join the clients injection molding team. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience creating and repairing tools and dies in injection molding (including progressive / transfer dies), and ability to use and set up CNC lathe and mill machines. This is a direct hire role that offer competitive pay and excellent benefits! Responsibilities :
- Construct and repair tools, progressive / transfer dies, fixtures, gauges, roll form tools and special tools, etc.
- Utilize blueprints to create tools, machines, jigs and components
- Setup CNC equipment by programming or using machine code programs
- Utilize blueprints and verbal instruction to create, repair and assemble dies and fixtures
- Execute total preventative maintenance schedules for tools and machines
- Install parts into manufacturing machines
- Perform preventative maintenance and repair on equipment and tools by using 5C practices when needed
