Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team. The
ideal candidate will be responsible for designing fire sprinkler systems in compliance with
applicable codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design fire sprinkler systems using CAD software (AutoCAD, HydraCAD, AutoSPRINK).
- Prepare system layouts, hydraulic calculations and stock lists.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Review and interpret plans and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Conduct site visits and surveys as needed.
- Stay updated on industry codes, standards, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- NICET level 1, 2, or 3 preferred.
- Two years of experience in fire sprinkler design.
- Proficient in CAD software; experience with HydraCAD and AutoSPRINK is a plus.
- Strong understanding of NFPA codes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
