Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Supervisor to oversee and manage electrical operations within our cement manufacturing plant. The Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maximizing operational efficiency. This role requires hands-on experience in high-voltage systems, industrial automation, and electrical maintenance in a heavy industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting
· Supervise and coordinate the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems across the cement plant.
· Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, motor control issues, and automation system failures.
· Ensure optimal performance of power distribution, switchgear, transformers, and PLC-based control systems.
Team Supervision & Training
· Lead a team of electricians and technicians, assigning tasks and ensuring adherence to work schedules.
· Conduct technical training on electrical safety, troubleshooting, and equipment handling.
· Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the electrical team.
Safety & Compliance
· Enforce compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
· Conduct electrical safety inspections and implement corrective measures.
· Ensure proper lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures for electrical work.
Project Execution & Process Optimization
· Assist in electrical system upgrades, energy efficiency projects, and automation improvements.
· Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to enhance production reliability.
· Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance, repairs, and system performance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
· 5 years of experience in an electrical supervisory role in cement manufacturing, mining, or heavy industrial environments.
· Proficiency in high-voltage systems, PLC programming, VFDs, and industrial power distribution.
· Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and preventive maintenance practices.
· Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand industrial setting.
