What are the responsibilities and job description for the Army Intelligence Training Readiness and Exercise Planner position at SMX?
SMX is seeking an Army Intelligence Training Readiness and Exercise (TREX) Planner that will interface with senior-level state leaders and ARNG G-2 leadership for Intelligence readiness, training strategies, and complex multi-partner exercises. As a TREX Planner you provide guidance, management, policy translation, and Intelligence curriculum support for the TO. The TREX Planner shall also work in concert with other DoD organizations for Intelligence input to Programs of Instruction (POI), training requirements, and state and national level evaluation exercises.
This position requires a TS/SCI DoD security clearance which requires US citizenship for work on DoD contracts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Interface with senior-level state leaders and ARNG G-2 leadership for Intelligence readiness, training strategies, and complex multi-partner exercises
- Provide guidance, management, policy translation, and Intelligence curriculum support
- Work in concert with other DoD organizations for Intelligence input to Programs of Instruction (POI), training requirements, and state and national level evaluation exercises
Required Skills & Experience
- 10 or more years' experience in Intelligence Operations, Data Science, Cyber Operations, Intelligence Collection, or Intelligence Exploitation
- 10 or more years' experience in areas that include developing training materials, SOPs, and user guides, and classroom instruction
- 5 or more years' experience conducting joint exercise support at one of the DoD's Unified Combatant Commands, e.g., USSOCOM, USCENTCOM, USINDOPACOM, USAFRICOM, USTRANSCOM, USNORTHCOM, USSOUTHCOM, USCYBERCOM, USSTRATCOM, USEUCOM, and USSPACECOM
- 5 or more years' experience participating in training product development sessions, instructing training classes, and understanding the training Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) process concepts
- Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification
- Must live local to the Northern Virginia area
- Required security clearance: TS/SCI
