The proposed salary for this position is:
$105,100—$175,100 USD

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, analyze, and optimize network systems to ensure scalability, security, and performance.
- Evaluate and recommend hardware, software, and network solutions to meet operational and strategic requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, including those involving various protocols, topologies, and devices.
- Develop technical standards, interface applications, and network security measures to maintain a robust network infrastructure.
- Provide highly skilled technical assistance in network planning, engineering, and architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to integrate new technologies and ensure seamless implementation.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation, including system configurations, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and cybersecurity standards in all network operations.
- Extensive knowledge of networking protocols, topologies, and hardware, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring and analysis tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, or Splunk.
- Proficiency in creating and interpreting technical documentation, including network diagrams and configurations.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
- Active Top-Secret Clearance
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in network analysis, design, and troubleshooting for large-scale environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (equivalent experience or certifications may substitute).
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or CompTIA Network .
- Experience supporting network systems for a Federal Law Enforcement Agency or similar government organizations.
- Familiarity with cloud networking solutions (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and best practices for network security.
- Experience with IT service management tools like ServiceNow or Atlassian Jira.
